Supporting Partners

We welcome sponsorship partners to help us grow, to allow us to continue to hold the wide range of events that we host in our facility each year, and to make each event bigger and better every time.

Thank you to the following organizations who have stepped up to help us in our mission to grow our climbing community and enhance the events we host throughout the year.

The North Face stepped up this year to help equip our competitive teams, providing hoodies to our Adult and Youth teams, plus sneakers and backpacks to the Youth team. This means our teams look great, both when training and at the competitions, and we’re able to support a larger group of competitors this year. They also contribute to supporting our events and programmes as an Anchor Partner.

TD Canada Trust has been True North Climbing’s provider of banking services since our incorporation in the spring of 2009. In Fall of 2010 they ran a national television and newspaper advertising campaign featuring the gym (watch the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_F–tQ-uZc&feature=player_embedded).  TD Canada Trust is our first Anchor Partner.

Jones Brown Inc (formerly Front Row Insurance Brokers) has provided insurance to True North Climbing since the fall of 2010. When we had our little water-related incident they were there to support us and help us reopen the gym as soon as possible. The Business Interruption insurance they had recommended allowed us to pay our staff for shifts they would have worked during the 11-day shutdown. We’re very happy to welcome Jones Brown Inc as a Supporting Partner.

Shibley Righton has been our law firm since our company was incorporated in May of 2009. They helped us get on our feet, and have provided friendly and supportive legal help ever since. They joined us as a Supporting Partner in June, 2012.

Eldorado Climbing Walls built the climbing structures in our gym, and has continued to support us since we opened. We’re thrilled with what they built for us, and excited to have them join us with their sponsorship as a Supporting Partner as of August 2012.

We’re excited to be working with the women of the Toronto Roller Derby League, whose bouts are held just down the road from us in Downsview Park.
