Giving Families a Break

We have had a few requests since we opened for some sort of family membership rate. It has taken us a little while to figure out how to handle this, but we are happy to announce the following breaks for families climbing together:

  • A family is defined as one or two adults living at the same address with one or more of their children.
  • With the purchase of 2 memberships in a family (including all the adults) at the usual price(s), additional memberships may be purchased at a 20% discount.
  • With the purchase of an adult membership at the usual price, a membership for a child 4-7 years of age may be purchased at half price. One half-price child membership per adult membership bought.

Climbing together as a family is a great way to have fun. because each climber chooses their own route to climb, it doesn’t matter if everyone is climbing at their own level, which makes climbing rather unique among sports. We understand that the cost of membership can add up when several family members all climb together, and we hope the policies above will make it easier for you.

I am a single parent with one child. Does this mean there is no discount for myself and my 12 year old as a single parent?

Yes, that’s correct. The discount kicks in with the 3rd membership.

I think you need to look into this family package. There are alot of single parents out there who would love to take their kids. Your pricing structure needs revamping. Would you rather lose 2 ppl than gain 2??
