We’re proud to be a member of the Ontario Access Coalition (OAC), a volunteer, not-for-profit group that works with the climbing community, landowners, conservation authorities and property managers to keep climbing and bouldering areas open in an environmentally resposible manner. OAC memberships are available for sale for $5 at our front desk.
We’re a strong supporter of the Ontario Climbing Federation (OCF), which organizes competitions for youth and adults across Ontario.
True North Climbing Inc. is a member of the Toronto Board of Trade.
The Tour de Bloc is the national series of bouldering competitions in Canada. On our opening day March 27th, 2010, True North Climbing Inc. hosted our first Tour de Bloc competition. We also hosted Tour de Bloc local comps in February, 2011 and March, 2012, and Eastern Regionals in March 2013. Each of our Tour de Bloc competitions has attracted an average of about 200 competitors, including many kids in the Youth categories.
